February Construction Update – Cumberland & 8th Street

The new building on the corner of 8th Street and Cumberland continues to take shape as the exterior of the building is now being closed in.

Currently workers are working on the exterior vapour barrier as well as installing windows in the building. Throughout the interior of the building mechanical and electrical trades are working on all floors and framing of the interior partitions has begun.

Main floor tenants Scotiabank and Original Joe’s will be taking possession of their spaces in the building in March 2020 and hope to be open by the summer.
