July Construction Update – Cumberland & 8th Street

The construction fencing has been removed from the new 3 storey office/retail building at the corner of 8th Street and Cumberland and Scotiabank is now open for business!

The 2nd and 3rd floors of the building are just having final deficiencies completed and we expect the contractor to be wrapped up in the next couple of weeks.

Next door to the new building the demolition of the former Original Joe’s is nearly complete and paving crews will be coming by in August to pave this area and turn it into additional parking for the site.

Landscaping for the corner of the site is being prepared and the install of sod and trees will also happen in August.
